	Is there a center and zoom functionality built in to this control?

	Yes, you can set the center lat/long coordinate of the map along with setting the zoom level to what ever value you need.

	You can just set the Center Location (Latitude/Longitude) and Zoom Level by setting the appropriate properties of the Map control, and it'll set them on the client.
