License Purchased - Still can't get it to work

We have purchased the single developer license - Web.Maps.VE 2.0 Single Developer - but still can't get it to work on the local machine while debugging the project. I have downloaded the license file to the bin folder in my project.

Everything works fine when I publish the code to the other servers though. But I having problems when I run the code (Ctrl+F5 or F5) on my local machine.

A valid license cannot be granted for Simplovation

The following information about activating a Web.Maps.VE v2.0 license on a development pc is also located at the bottom of this page: https://simplovation.com/page/webmapsve20.aspx

Once your purchase is complete, go to the "My Licenses" section of the website to download your License (.licx) file and the WebMapsVE_2.0_Activation.exe utility. Just execute the activation utility and click the "Install License" button within the utility to open your downloaded License (.licx) file and install it on your computer.

No, you do not need to run the activation program on the production machine. You just need to run on your local machine for debugging purposes.

That is correct, you do not need to run the activation utility on the production machine. Just copy the dll to the Bin folder in production and everything will work as expected. The license you purchase is a development license, and the control doesn't require any licensing fee to deploy into a production environment.
